Position Description
Critical Care Physician Assistant, Louisiana - CTICU Day Shifts
Join a CTICU team in New Orleans for day-only ICU coverage.
Highlights
- 12-hour day shifts only (7a-7p)
- No call, no nights
Practice Setting
- Inpatient CTICU at major academic center
- High-volume transplant and ECMO service
- Team includes attendings, hospitalists, and cardiac intensivists
Schedule
- 7a-7p day shifts; no night coverage
- Open scheduling, open to full time schedule or PRN
- 8-10 patients per shift with 1-2 daily admits
Cases and Procedures
- Cardiac ICU cases: transplant, ECMO, vent management
Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant with Acute Care training
- Active Louisiana license
- BLS, ACLS, and DEA required
