American Association of Nurse Practitioners Announces Fellows for 2015

The Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners recently selected 70 nurse practitioner leaders.  They were honored at the AANP National Conference at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.

AANP established the FAANP program in 2000 to recognize nurse practitioner leaders who have made outstanding contributions to health care through clinical practice, research, education, or policy. Fellows of AANP are visionaries and, hold an annual think tank to strategize about the future of nurse practitioners and health care. The new Fellows will continue to demonstrate leadership and contribute to the mission of AANP.

One of the NP's chosen was our own Covington member of LANP, Dr Laurie Ann Fergerson.

Lets all congratulate her as a new Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2015, and tell her we appreciate the outstanding contributions she has given to healthcare.
